About
Chilean painter Claudio Bravo will be on the Latin American Art Sale organized by Sotheby´s New York, this 28 and 29 May. The artworks on display are 9 pieces, including oil on canvas, drawings and even a rare sculpture, which was made in collaboration with Chilean sculptor Raúl Valdivieso in the 70's decade.
Another artworks of the selection of 20th-century works in this vibrant and diverse offering is Matta’s splendid Morphologie Psychologique, 1939. Other surrealists include Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, Juan O´Gorman and Wifredo Lam. Composition Constructive, 1931 by Joaquín Torres-García complements later abstractions by Jesús Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz Diez, Mira Schendel, Alejandro Otero and Gego.
